As a few of you may know, there has been a recent change of hands regarding DFWd20. The many hours of work and creative inspiration Russ has put forth into this site has been appreciated by many of us, and the content and concentration of resources is a gem to the local gaming community. For these reasons I have chosen to follow in Russ's footsteps and continue hosting and developing DFWd20.
I have been a fan of the direction Russ has pursued with the site, and I hope to continue in the spirit of his contributions. Having said that I do plan to shift a few things around to make the resources we offer here more accessible to those that explore our offerings.
You may have noticed in the past week that several minor changes have been made, mostly in updating links and moving threads to more appropriate forums. Soon I hope to have a Pathfinder section created and ready for community content, for a greater diversity in our offerings to the local gaming community.
To make DFWd20 more successful in its mission to be a great networking hub for local gamers, I would like to renew the call for ideas and suggestions to make our work here into the most reliable and useful resource for gamers in the North Texas area.
If there is content you would like to see added, please post about it in our Site Suggestions or General Discussion forums. If you have requests for the kinds of community tools you would like to see us spotlight, let me know so that we can give them due attention. If you have a new product and would like to tell others about it I urge you to write a review, or collaborate with others in doing so.
We are a community site, driven largely by word of mouth and personal networking. We are only as strong, as diverse, and as friendly as you are. Please tell your fellow gamers about DFWd20, because this site is like our hobby in general - it's built on the enthusiasm and vision of the group.
Live the life you love, love the life you live.
